NFL SCHEDULE IS OUT!!!

The 2009 NFL Schedule is out and ready to go!   Here are some good matchups to look forward to.

SuperBowl Champs Pittsburgh Steelers will kickoff the season Thursday Sept 10th hosting the Tennessee Titans.
Week 1 Sunday Sept 13th NFC East Rivals Washington Redskins and the NY Giants will play at 4:15. Also division rivals Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will play and Bears fans will see  what Jay Cutler can do.

Week 2- The Dallas Cowboys play host in their new stadium to the NY Giants for the Sunday night game.
Week 3- Miami Dolphins (who some say have the toughest schedule) head to San Diego to face the chargers.
Week 4- Baltimore Ravens vs. New England
Week 5- Jets and Dolphins rematch from last years playoffs.
Week 6- New York Giants vs. the NO Saints.
Week 7- Monday  night NFC East Philadelphia Eagles go to DC to play the Dead skins oops typo meet Redskins!
Week 8- Minnesota Vikings head Green Bay to play the packers. Also it will be a bad day for someone in my house. The Giants and Eagles play for the first time of the season in Philly.
Week9- Carolina Panthers vs. NO Saints
Week10- Thursday night games begin with the Chicago Bears and SF 49ers.
Week11- Rivals Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys
Week 12- Thanksgiving Games will be Green Bay and Detroit, Oakland and Dallas, and night game will be NY Giants and the Denver Broncos.
Week13- Tennessee Titans vs. Indy Colts
Week14- San Diego Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Week 15- Monday Night NY Giants play the Redskins
Week 16- Christmas night San Diego Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans
Week 17-  Who could forget last year when the Eagles and Cowboys ended the season both needing to win to make it to the playoffs!!! Eagles and Cowboys end the season.

    Dallas' end of season schedule is rough. Unless they really step it up - and of course I hope they don't!- there's going to be a lot of crying coming out of Dallas this year. I'm bummed the Giants don't play the Steelers, because that's always fun to watch, but as a whole I like the Giants' schedule this year. Seems more balanced. Getting tired of playing the Vikings though. Odd that they're playing Carolina and the vikings in, I think, the same weeks as last year. I'd expect that for NFC East Opponents, but less so for out of dicision.
