After Four Seasons As a Giant Plaxico Burress is No Longer Wanted In NY
Friday Night the NY Giants finally made the decision to let go of Wide Receiver (and Eli Mannning's safety net) Plaxico Burress.
In November, Plaxico was out a night club with an unlicensed and accidentally shot himself in the leg. Which left him out for the rest of the season. Where the Giants lost the last 4 out of 5 games, and lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round, after the Giants had the Bye Week. It was obvious to Giant fans, and the Giants especially Eli that Burress was needed on the lineup.
With Burress's court date being set to June now the Giants have decided that they don't need him, or his drama. Burress could face jail time.

The back of today's Daily News was great - knocked the Yankees off, sadly
I say good riddance -- he's a great WR and I hope we don't have to face him, but he wasn't going to be worth the trouble hes' causing from what I heard and read. We can move on and if Eli has a new cadre of receivers to work with early, I think he can.
Tomorrow's breakfast should be interesting.
