WR Donte Stallworth Charged with Killing a Man

ESPN has confirmed that Cleveland Browns WR  Donte Stallworth will be charged today with killing a pedestrian 59 year old Mario Reyes  last month while drinking and driving in Miami.

Stallworth  who will appear in court on Thursday just released a statement saying "My family and I are grief-stricken over the tragic accident which occurred Saturday on Miami Beach where Mario Reyes sadly lost his life."

Police reports say that the man who was killed Reyes was not walking in a cross walk went hit. He was heading home from a night shift trying to catch a bus when hit by Donte's Bentley around 7:15 am. 
 According to the Miami Police, Stallworth was driving about 50 mph in the 40 mph zone. Stallworth does say he flashed his lights at Reyes to warn him to get out of the way.

Donte Stallworth has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, and New England Patriots. He came to the Browns last season but didn't play most of the year due to injury.
